The french association for artificial intelligence (AFIA) has awarded Jean-Guillaume Fages with the 1st prize for the quality of his PhD Thesis entitled "On the use of graphs within constraint programming". The jury, presided by Luis Farinas Del Cerro, was composed of Leila Amgoud, Christian Bessière, Didier Dubois, Hélène Fargier, Jean-Gabriel Ganascia, Andreas Herzig, Jérôme Lang, Pierre Marquis, François Pachet, Henri Prade and Marie Christine Rousset. The ceremony took place at Rennes during the PFIA conference. This major event grouped the main branches Artificial Intelligence : autonomous robots, multi-agent systems, planning, learning and many other fascinating stuffs! Thanks for such a nice event.
